Try: AllReaders.com Precision Book Search

Or you can just describe some of the stories here and maybe someone will recognize it.

Alibris.com might also have it. A lot of books they offer are out of print.

i'll have to check both websites out

well they were a scary short stories and on of the stories was about a girl that gets out of violin practice really late and she decides to take a shortcut thru the cemetary and I cant remember if it as a man or woman but somebody starts chasing her and she drops her violin, keeps running, reaches her house and shuts the door, and the next morning she wakes up and the violin is lying on her doorstep

then another story I remember is about a ghost in a church and during the sermon as the priest is talking the ghost keeps laughing and it scares evrybody

this is all I can really remember and that I have to go by I just remember loving these short stories and I remember it was a soft covered book
I would love to pass it down to my son hen he becomes old enough

I *think* those stories might be from Scary Stories to Tell In the Dark by Alvin Schwartz. They are a series of 3 books. If that's not it, the stories inside are very similar to the ones you remember.
