Just fished "The Gate House" by Nelson DeMille. I really enjoyed it, lots of humor, sex, mystery and some mafia thrown in. Not sure if it was a sequel, will have to check. Lots of pages but definitely a page turner.

Just finished The Complete Short Stories of Mark Twain, which was great, but a bit of a teaser. So I checked out a volume containing his Innocents Abroad and Roughing It. Should be good.

I just finished "1st to Die" by James Patterson. I liked it so well that I returned it to the library today and checked out "2nd Chance", the second book in the series.

I just started "The Little Pink House" by Jeff Benedict. It's non-fiction and it's about eminent domain and how a 40 year old woman named Susette Kelo went up against Pfizer in court, trying to keep her house. The case went all the way to the Supreme Court and in 2005, they voted in favor of the government's right to seize private property from one citizen and give it to another capable of generating higher tax revenues.

Do you like "The Friday Night Knitting Club"? I remember seeing something about it, but can't remember what. Is it recommendable?
