Here is a must-read for women who are having trouble finding the right guy... Why Does he Do That? Inside the Minds of Angry and Controlling Men. I would appreciate feedback if you do read it. For a preview, go to amazon.com and read some of the first 5 reviews of the book...if it's for you, you will definitely know it. It has changed my life!

Ticky, I love Michener. I've read everything he'd written.
Another Michener fan here. I've been trying to figure out what I'm in the mood for. Maybe Michener would fit the bill. Haven't read any of his for years.....I think a trip to the library is in order. I'll have to see what they have and try to remember which one's I've read and which I haven't. I know I've read Tales of the South Pacific, Centennial, Texas, Hawaii, Chesapeake, Poland, Caravans...Any suggestions for what to look for next? ..Also enjoy Wouk. The Winds of War is one of the few books I never tire of reading and rereading.....

Almost done with Dolores Claiborne by Stephen King. Good book! Woman suspected of murdering her elderly employer goes to police station and confesses to murdering her husband years ago.

I recommend Michener's "The Source." It's wonderful.

Have you read "War and Remembrance" by Wouk? It's a sequel to Winds of War.

You might enjoy Leon Uris. I put him in the "great authors" category with Michener and Wouk. "Trinity" is excellent and of course, "Exodus" and "Mila 18" and "Battle Cry."
