And I finished "Officer down" last night. I was reading until 4 a.m. in the morning! The story had a couple of sudden changes and I HAD to finish, LOL. Really good book.

(I had to tell you, guys )

Now I'll start "A dangerous fortune" by Ken Follett.

I'm reading The Brother Gardeners: Botany, Empire and the Birth of an Obsession by Andrea Wulf. It's non-fiction - gardening and the history thereof in England.

I'm not a gardener but I do love other people's gardens. It's really good so far - very well written and not all text-bookish.

I've read that series, it's a good story. I don't think he's finished with it yet, or else my local library doesn't have the final book(s). Looking forward to the finishing of it. I haven't read anything else by him, though.

Almost finished The Fixer Upper by Mary Kay Andrews. Usually I prefer mysteries but this is just a nice book. Recently finished Patterson's The 8th Confession (typical Patterson series) and Dog Gone It, a first book in a series. Kind of hokey but the mystery was good.

I'm still reading The Poisonwood Bible. I'm usually a fast reader but I can't do that with this book because each sentence is great. That sounds odd but it is really true. I'm afraid I will miss something. Plus, it's a very thick book. I love it but I am going to be reading it for a while.

Current: Losing the Peace, by William Leisner (Star Trek novel).

Next up: Cockatiels at Seven, by Donna Williams (humorous mystery).

I'm eagerly awaiting Marty Appel's biography of Thurman Munson, which will be released next week.

Currently, Koontz's "Odd Thomas" series. Not much time for reading this weekend, as I have company, but usually takes about a week to read all four books. Also waiting for another book in the mail that I just bought off Ebay - "What Dreams May Come" - have had the movie from this one on VHS for years, but just recently learned of the book. Looking forward to reading it.
