Right now I'm reading Guantanamo Diary by Mohammedou Slahi, about his experiences in detention in Guantanamo and elsewhere. Pretty interesting so far, although he isn't in American custody yet.

Just finished Five Families by Selwyn Raab. That was a very long book. Starting up The Boys from Jersey tonight. I'm on a mob kick.

I finished we were liars. Excellent read. If you enjoy YA, I recommend looking into this one. I have started Turn of Mind. Only a few pages in but so far so good. Thanks, Dawn!

You're welcome! I'm not often two for two in the recommendations department, so I hope that you enjoy the rest of Turn of Mind.

Slowly slowly tackling the ever expanding to be read list.
I am thoroughly enjoying A Land More Kind Than Home. (about halfway through now and I really look forward to reading it ).Thank you one and all for mentioning that one.
Not sure what is next (It's not that I am such a slow reader but I just don't seem to find much time to read. I tend to waste my spare time on the internet and tv and cleaning
It will either be
Big Little Lies or Major Pettigrew's Last Stand which are both on my list thanks to this forum.

Hi all, I am new here. Mayvenne, you will love Big Little Lies. If you haven't read The Husband's Secret (by the same author) you will enjoy it. I actually liked that one better than BLL. Happy Reading!
