I read the Amazon blurb and too many words in it didn't appeal to me: 1950, expedition, remote Micronesian island, lost tribe, forest dwellers, immortality that preserves the body but not the mind, anthropological adventure.

Yes, it does, netwit. The title sounds a lot like All the Light We Cannot See. I really like that book.

Hahahahaha! If it had "dystopian" and "zombie" in the blurb, that *really* would have pushed me over the edge.

Yeah, as it stands, it's totally up your and Netwit's alley, but not mine. At all. Enjoy!

Oh dear. I had forgotten how interesting it sounded to me. If I shove The Children's Crusade to the back of the line and try that one first, I wonder if they would still return my money if I didn't like it? Naw, I guess not.

I did the same thing on the Kindle. I saw my mistake immediately so don't know if there is a time limit.

On a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 6.5.
Next up is Every Fifteen Minutes. I'm feeling a little anxious about The Children's Crusade based on Dawn and Tigerlily's reviews, but of course I'll give it a try.
I wouldn't give up on TCC. As in life, different strokes for different folks.

I was going to read You by Caroline Kepnes but... I decided to read more life snippets, even though these snippets are fiction: Lillian on Life by Alison Jean Lester
