I don't know what the fascination is with Gone Girl. I read it some time ago and I didn't like it at all. I must be in the minority though as I often hear people saying it was a great book. SMH.
Remember there are a lot of people out there who thought 50 Shades and Twilight were such great books too. I wouldn't say I thought Gone Girl was good but I didn't hate it. I think I enjoyed the way it was written, certainly not the people. Blech.

I'm one of those who loved the Twilight series.
I could barely stomach Gone Girl, The Girl on the Train, The Dinner.

Funny! I read the Twilight series but only because I wanted to see how it ended. Was not impressed and did not like any characters. I read the latter 3 too. I liked those better but did not love any nor did I like anyone in them either. I guess I am starting to stick with books I could care less about characters in, contrary to my previous belief.
I just finished Etta and Otto and Russell and James which I liked right up until the last couple pages. I feel like the author was trying to be really profound, wanting to create deep thinking, blah blah blah. She ruined it, IMO.

I thought about telling you it was all about the potato but I was too ticked off to even make something up for you about the ending. Since you probably don't remember, there isn't a potato in the book.
