I just completed One Dark Throne and am half way through The Empress. My daughter received The Queen of Hearts Trilogy and I will probably read those next. I swapped for Pachinko! Yay!

Just finished The Girl with all the Gifts by M.R. Carey which was okay for a post-apocalyptic book.

Now I'm about 20% into The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood and I'm really intrigued!

Next on my list is The Good Daughter by Karin Slaughter for a new buddy read. But I also have to finish My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante which I had to stop for a while to read the other two books.

I wish you all a wonderful Christmas, fun with your families and friends and a lot of reading time.

Not exactly spirit-of-the-holiday reading, but anyway... I'm about to start a memoir called The Art of Misdiagnosis: Surviving My Mother's Suicide by Gayle Brandeis.

I know that you didn't ask ME this question but Amazon and I are really close friends so:

"Describes a boy's eighteen-year struggle to stay alive against hemophilia and the emotional and psychological adjustments made by his parents"
