I love being in "obsession" mode. So much easier than when nothing seems to hold your interest.

I'm reading Marilla of Green Gables. Not exactly literature, but good for Anne fans.

I finished Half a Life – Jill Ciment's memoir. It was good. Not great, but good.

Depending on which date is correct on her Wiki page, we may (or may not) share a birthday. Day and month only, not either of the years listed—she's 10 (or 12) years older than I am.

She used some odd phrasing that bugged me, like "scuffed" instead of "shuffled." She used that MANY times. "I scuffed across the room to the TV…" or "He scuffed towards me…" No, you and he didn't scuff the floors. You both shuffled across the floors, silly Jilly.

Anyway, it was decent enough, I enjoyed it, and although I tried a few other of her books, none clicked except this one (liked) and The Body in Question (loved!).
