I just finished Barry Eilser's Killing Rain. I have started Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro.

What a weird coincidence!

I don't even know what triggered it, but I just ordered Remains of the Day from an Amazon reseller this morning!

And for some reason I looked it up on amazon today and put it on my wish list. Crazy!

You all have to let me know how you like it.

So strange! It's like we're all being channeled by the author or something!

I'm not going to be starting it for a while. I have a pile of "to be read" books in my night table, and I just started Every Man Dies Alone by Hans Fallada, which is a fairly heavy book that I think I'll be reading quite slowly.

So, if YOU start it first, please let ME know how you like it.

I started remains of the Day yesterday. I am liking it so far. of course the Queens English might get on nerves at times but over all after 50 pages are so, i am still liking it.

Its about an English Butler set out to look at country side. So far, thats the gist. I am gussing he is going to go flash back soon. I have a feeling...lets see. I will let you know tomorrow .

Queen's English won't bother me but if all he's doing is looking at the countryside, that might get on my nerves rather quickly.

I'm hoping that sex and/or violence is in tomorrow's update. Just kidding, of course. But I do hope that SOMETHING happens!
