Opyelie, thanx. I remember him now. In the Nantucket series the Wiccans came off badly, so he made a wiccan the hero of "Change". I hope it got him back in the dating cycle. Good books.

I'll have to go back and read the "Nantucket" series after I finish the Change ones. Island in the Sea of Time etc I think?

I have been reading Linda Gardner books. They are crime/mystery can't-wait-to-turn-the-page books.
Linda or Lisa ? I've read Gone by Lisa Gardner, was very good, and I have her Say Goodbye in my TBR pile.

they do sound very interesting. ( hope so anyway)
Update- picked up both books yesterday and plunged into the murder room. I am really liking it. It is sort of a CSI but non -fiction. Very gripping. I am hooked. It is a very fast read. This is a good summary
'The Murder Room': Heads-up on 'heirs' of Sherlock Holmes - USATODAY.com

When I finish that one, I will start the first word.
Thank you for the wonderful suggestions.

Their is a tribe of orangutans that makes kissing noises to each other as they settle down for the night. The first word is "Lovya"

I finished When Elephants Weep, which I recommend to all you animal lovers out there. It's just a different perspective on the emotions of animals. I started Christopher Hitchen's bio on Thomas Jefferson. So far, so good. Still trying to finish my audiobook of The Call of the Wild. Never read it before, and I actually think it's very good.

Just started Bowling Alone. It's about the breakdown of community get-togethers, functions, or whatever the term. The book details how/why people socialize less.

Thanks for posting this. Sounds like something I would be interested in. (And probably describes me, lol.)

I just finished Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell. Pretty fascinating.
