I just completed my John Grisham re-read marathon ... The King of Torts, The Broker, The Street Lawyer, The Summons ... one right after the other. Now I am ready to start his new book The Confession.
I have all of Grisham's books and he is one of my favorites.
Heather Graham's "Ghost Moon". I needed a book to read while at work (before work and on break) cause I had left the one I was reading at home so I ran over to Goodwill and that just happens to be the one I picked up.

The only books that had not gotten packed for our move were the three that I bought from the library sale.
Once I started seeing the light at the end of the tunnel as far as the move goes (Part II -- The Final Exodus happens this weekend), I felt relaxed enough to try to start reading a bit. I really wanted out of my reading slump... badly!
So I picked up One Thousand White Women.
I don't have a heck of a lot of time because there's still more packing to get done, and I won't have a lot of time for a while on the other end, because I have tons to UNpack, but every time I get the opportunity to read a few pages of this book, I fall in love with it a little more. It's a terrific story, told in a beautiful way. I'm on page 130 or thereabouts, and I'm already wishing it won't end. (I guess it's good that I don't have a lot of time... it may be a long time before it *does* end.)
I'm not far into it but I feel like I am spending the day with my aunt and uncle from page one. It's delightful.
Loved that book! One day I was flipping through the channels on TV and stumbled onto a Hallmark movie made in the early 1990's based on the book and starring James Garner and Joanne Woodward. I'm not normally a movie person but I enjoyed it a lot - almost as much as the book.

I enjoyed that book so much. It seemed so true to me that I had to keep reminding myself that it was fiction. Loved the characters in it as well as the story.

That's such a sweet endorsement, I think I am going to read that.
I think the only book I read by Tyler was soemthing at the homesick cafe/restaurant?something and I sure did enjoy that one.
Hate to say it but, as a bathroom read (sorry, TMI), I have been re-visiting "Brag" or "Bragg".
Lately, I've been doing ebooks. The latest one being "The Business World is Full of Animals" and it's pretty good if you like those "Who Moved My Cheese" kind of books.
