Finished "Water for Elephants" in no time at all. A real page turner. So sad, an amazing book!

Just startet "The Painted Man" by Peter V. Brett. Fiction like "A Song of Fire and Ice" by George R.R. Martin.

Hello fellow bookies. I am reading The Passage, usually until about 2:00 am. I can't put it down.

For those who are reading One Thousand White Women, Jim Fergus has another book called The Wild Girl. Also a good read.

Heather Graham's "Killing Kelly". Yes, I am on a Heather Graham kick right now. I've got 4 other Heather Graham books to read after this one and then I may try some Dean Koonz, Nora Roberts, and James Patterinson books that I already have.

Also started "Dark Legacy" by Anna DeStrfano on my nook.

I've only got 1 week before school starts back and I am back to 2 jobs and school and back to essentially reading 1 night a week.

Hi Mattie,

I loved The Passage. I simply could not predict what was going to happen next in that book. He has a follow up coming out one of these days. His fans are waiting...waiting...waiting for it.

I'll check out Fergus's The Wind Girl. I really enjoyed One Thousand White Women. Thanks for mentioning it.

I am reading "Sarah's Quilt" by Nancy E. Turner. Loved the first in the series, "These Is My Words" and so far enjoying this one as well.

Ah! I didn't know it was a series.... I really liked "These Is My Words," as well. I'll have to check out the sequel. Thanks.

I just finished Love In The Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, which I really liked. Then I started (for the second time), One Hundred Years of Solitude also by GGM. I remember hearing Oprah trilling on and on, how great this book was. For the second time, I am probably putting it down. Anyone else have any thoughts on GGM and OHYS??

I'm reading "The New Dead: A Zombie Anthology". They are short zombie stories written by authors like Max Brooks and I think Jonathan Maberry.

Just starting but it looks promising. (I have a strong interest in zombies anyway, so a bit biased :P)
