Homeland, by John Jakes. I truly love his historical fiction. for some reason, I had missed this book and had read its sequel first.

Interesting book so far.
Is this more history than a novel? Sounds interesting.

Just finished The Other Boleyn Girl by Phillippa Gregory (the book is so much better than a movie, what a big dissapointment)
Started The Boleyn Inheritance by Phillipa Gregory few days ago, very interstesting so far.

I am reading One Last Time by John Edward. A really strange book. He is a psychic medium and talks about his spirit encounters in the book.

This is history. It's a slightly different take on the women that married Henry VIII, concentrating on the strengths that made them amazing historical figures.

I'm just finishing Presidential Wives, An Anecdotal history and will be starting Hitler and His Secret Partners, about the financial relationships and strategies that helped him in his quest for power.

Spending a lot of time in the library .

"Up in the Old Hotel" by Joseph Mitchell. It's a collection of reportage, old New York stories from the 30s through the 60s (which is when they were originally published, in the New Yorker). Stuff about steelworkers, guys who work in the harbor, old characters on the Bowery, weird long-forgotten political traditions. It's awesome.
