Just started "The Kitchen House" by K. Grissom. Kinda' got lost at the beginning with too many characters, hard to keep track. The story is slow coming out of the gate for me, will hang in there because I was told it is "so good".

Just read 'Girl with a Dragon Tatto'. I realise it came out years ago, but with the American remake of the movie the story is back in the news. Very nice. Extremely hard to put down.

Finished 97 Orchard Street thanks to the recommendations here and did enjoy it quite a bit.

Just started RULES OF CIVILITY and am really liking it- very very very well written and different. I just started it today on the train and have read close to 100 pages. I believe Tigerlilly suggested it so thank you...

My Reading Life by Pat Conroy.

Irony: I'm having a heck of a time getting into *any* book these days. I'm waiting for my goodies to come (be it on Kindle from the library or in the mail). The not-so-goodies arrived -- of course *they* did.

Guilty As Sin by Joseph Teller. Legal thriller not unlike Grisham novels but with east coast sensibilities.

Taken by Robert Crais. I'm about 1/3 of the way through, and so far, it's one of the usual good page-turner Elvis Cole mysteries by Crais.
