Just started Cost by Roxana Robinson, so far so good...
A Year Of Wonders is one of my top five books, and am anxiously awaiting another from Barbara Kingsolver, one of my favorite writers.

I just finished two Dean Koontz books: One Door Away From Heaven and The Taking

I am a big Dean Koontz fan and I am going to start his book: Frankenstein this afternoon.

I've read Frankenstein Book 1 and Book 2, thought there was going to be a Book 3 out last summer. Enjoyed Book 1 & 2

I haven't read any Dean Koontz for a couple of years, but for quite awhile I grabbed his books as they rolled off the press. I could go for a good Dean Koontz thriller right about now. Thanks, all.

Right now, I am engrossed in Jodi Picoult's Plain Truth and Love Medicine by Louise Erdrich. I usually have more than one book on the reading table at a time.

I am enjoying both books, but I do favor Plain Truth. It is fascinating reading about an area of the country where I grew up witnessing the Amish communities, but never really knowing them. The PA Dutch that peppers the conversations takes me back to my roots with my PA Dutch grandparents.

Wow! What a great thread! I have a whole new list of books to read now! Thanks everyone.

I am currently reading "You Can't Go Home Again" by Thomas Wolfe. It is rather hard to read, as it is somewhat disjointed, but there are enough well written passages that I will continue through to the end. This is my first Wolfe novel. Has anyone else read his work?
