I just finished reading "Pieces of My Heart: A Life" by Robert J. Wagner and "Dear Senator: A Memoir by the Daughter of Strom Thurmond" by Essie Mae Washington-Williams.
Finished 'Twilight', reading 'New Moon'; not having a lot of patience with either. I picked them up because I was wondering what the fuss was about; I hear about a lot of mother-daughter bonding over this series from the other *er-hem* 'older' women I work with. But I'm complaining to my mate "what the hell!? she's using ideas from 'Underworld', 'Interview with a Vampire' .... how does this woman keep from being sued for plagiarism!?"
I like a good romance series - NOT the bodice ripper kind! But I'm too busy picking this one apart to enjoy it much.
I'm almost done with "The Time Travelers Wife" by Audrey Niffenegger. Very good book.
I'll be starting "Talking to Heaven" by James Praagh.
After that "Preventing and Reversing Heart Disease" by Caldwell B. Esseylstyn.
