Sure! (Look at me inviting people to someone else's house. That's classy.) Cranky-pants party at Netwit's! Woot!

Of course! All cranky people assemble at Netwit's. Misery loves company. (I'm wondering why I'm up when I went to sleep around 6ish because I couldn't stand hubby snoring in my ear).

ETA: Oh, I just saw Dawnie already invited everyone to my house. *Snort.*

I'm 15% in on Following Atticus by Tom Ryan. I had my cry already -- I didn't know that Atticus was his second dog and I'd have to read about the death of the first! DAMMIT!!! -- and now Atticus has joined Tom's life. They haven't started hiking the mountains (I think that part will be my least favorite -- I'm not the least bit outdoorsy) but I've fallen in love with Atticus as well as with Tom's writing.

Hatchet. I actually started reading this book when I was in the 8th grade eight or so years ago and never finished.

After this, I'm going to read the Hunger Games trilogy.

That's a good selection of books. All are about survival and that is one of my favorite subjects to read about.

If you like those then you might enjoy the nonfiction book Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer. It's about an expedition up Mt. Everest several years ago. One of the survivors came to speak at my goddaughter's school and I went to hear him. It's a good book.

YES! I read it when it first came out (a million years ago? maybe more?) and I thought it was FABULOUS!

Still reading The Trumpet of the Swan but waiting for these to arrive from Better World Books:

In the Neighborhood: The Search for Community on an American Street, One Sleepover at a Time

The Speckled Monster: A Historical Tale of Battling the Smallpox Epidemic

The Haunted Bookshop

Cutting for Stone

I learned about all of these titles on here.

I don't usually pay attention to internet coupons, but BWB had a Black Friday coupon for 30% off and I got all these books for about $2.75 each and S&H were free. Sweet!
