I just finished Can't Wait to Get to Heaven by Fannie Flagg. It's a quick read (I knocked it out flying back from Europe), and was just precious...had me wiping my eyes a few times!
I'm also reading Who's Your City by Richard Florida; it's about how choosing the right town can enhance your own quest for happiness. It was actually recommended to me on this forum.

I read them some years back and enjoyed them. Some of the series of Nora Roberts are quite good reads!
