Currently on my nightstand:

2009 Pushcart Prize. I love anthologies and try to pick this one up every year (along with the O'Henry, Best American Short Stories etc).

"The Fortune Cookie Chronicles" by Jennifer 8. Lee. Found this in the cookbook section (641) but it's not a cookbook. Fascinating history of Chinese food/culture in the U.S.

"How to Have Style" by Isaac Mizrahi. Fun read, especially for those who follow the "style" shows on T.V. (e.g. "What Not to Wear"). Many "before and after" photos, some good basic fashion advice, and some outrageous and innovative ideas as well. Made me want to clean out my closets (that's a good thing).

I'm traveling on biz for several days, and then am taking a week-long trip to the beach. So I have "Our Man In Havana," by Graham Greene; "Catch-22," by Joseph Heller; and "A Bend In The River," by V.S. Naipaul.

I'm reading Revolutionary Road. I haven't seen the movie yet as I wanted to read the book first. Very depressing story.

I've been waiting for that book (checked out!) at the local library.

Post a "book report" when finished?

The movie is already at the local art house and I just hate seeing the movie before reading the book.
