I just finished Finding Me by Darnell Ford...literally, two minutes ago.
I was so at how it ended. It was a great book but I was pretty sucked into the story.

If you're anyone who enjoys African-American lesbian fiction, this is a good read. Of course it goes deeper than that but if you're someone that doesn't enjoy reading about lesbians, don't read this book.

I finished "The prodigal son" by Kate Sedley. (Roger-the-chapman mystery). When I found it was based on the late 1400's I wasn't very excited at the beginning but it's a good book with nice surprises until the end. Nice to find, considering it's a series.

I'm reading "A cold-blooded business" by Dana Stabenow (Kate Shugak mystery). Fast to read, entertaining.

I just finished Still Alice for one of my book clubs. It is about a woman with early on-set Alzheimers, how she learns of her diagnosis and experiences her life slipping away. It was a good read!

I am still reading Team of Rivals, and it is good!

My reading has slowed a lot because I finally bought a TV. But I'm about to the middle of From the Corner of His Eye by Dean Koontz.

Enoch "Junior" Cain and the wife he dearly loves go for a hike and find an observation deck with a broken railing. Junior wakes up in the hospital to find a cop in his room doing magic tricks with quarters and asking him why he was talking about Bartholomew in his sleep.

Agnes and Joe Lampion are a young couple about to have their first baby. Agnes puts off leaving till the very last moment and they speed towards the hospital in pouring rain.

Seraphim White is pregnant with the baby of her rapist. She's too afraid of him to report the rape to the police, and she fears what he would do to her and the child if he knew the child was his, so she goes to San Francisco and stays with her sister there to have the baby.

Somehow all these stories come together but I haven't yet figured that out. So far it's an excellent story.

How Democracy Failed by Ellen Switzer.

It's about the establishment of a new government in Germany after World War I and how it was taken over by Adolf Hitler.
