MoMark, what Bible Code books have you read? I'm with you on the second half of your comments I never started down the yellow brick road of the Islamic books crash--I know what they're about and don't need a bunch of books to pound it in. You just get sick of it after awhile.

Favorite books:

The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffennieger (way better than the title may indicate)

The Power of One by Bryce Courtenay

Recently read and favorite: Cloud Atlas and Black Swan Green
both by David Mitchell

I loved the Time Traveler's Wife. This story would make a great movie. It is an emotional roller coaster don't you think?

Definitely!
I had to read it twice to really digest it.
There is a nice board on IMDB for discussing the prospective movie.

I just finished " Dave Barry's Bad Habits" by Dave Barry (funny funny funny)

"Ask and It is Given" Esther and Jerry Hicks
"The Devil Wears Prada" Lauren Weisberger
"Revolutionary Weath: How it will be created and how it will change our lives" Alvin and Heidi Toffler

I agree! I drove my kids (teenagers) crazy when I read these books. My laughing out loud was about more than they could take. I always have at least one book going as I'm a reading fiend - but "Stephanie Plum" is one of the best! Not much thinking required when reading one of these but they sure are funny. My 19 year old daughter agrees. To anyone who has read these - I think I'll go get a doughnut.
