I want to thank my friend, who is an avid reader, for being tremendously supportive for the past year or so. I am meeting with her this week. Any recommendations?

She is pretty diverse. She loved The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Secret Life of Bees, etc.

This could be tricky because if she is an avid reader you run the risk of getting her something that she has already read. I usually avoid giving gift certificates, but it seems appropriate to give a certificate to a book in this situation.
