News, O.J. Simpson's 'If I Did It' to Be Published

LOS ANGELES — A literary agent for the family of stabbing victim Ronald Goldman has made a deal to repackage and publish O.J. Simpson's canceled "If I Did It" book about the slayings of Goldman and Simpson's ex-wife, a spokesman for the agent said Monday.

Details of the agreement, including the name of the New York publishing house, will be released Tuesday, said Michael Wright, a spokesman for Los Angeles-based literary agent Sharlene Martin of Martin Literary Management.

"The family and publisher have pledged to leave Simpson's manuscript entirely intact, but they will also add key commentary," Wright said in a prepared statement. "The Goldmans, the publisher and Sharlene Martin will all contribute portions of sales proceeds to the Ron Goldman Foundation for Justice."

I'd buy it only if it came with the opportunity to beat him senseless with it.

If I knew for certain the proceeds of the book sale went to the Goldman or Brown families, I'd buy it. Can't say I'd have any interest in reading it...but I'd be standing right behind Burdell if the chance came along.

Nicole Simpson's family agreed to have the book published because then they could collect some of the restitution O.J. Simpson owes......In light of this I would buy the book not read one lying, stinking word of it then BURN BABY BURN.......The victims family should get something for their troubles......Not a cent for O.J........He slithered away from his crime or at least his knowledge of it without paying a price in prison time or with his life by lethal injection. The best punishment O.J. could receive now is to languish in obscurity for the rest of his natural life....Let's ignore him....This will take him out !!!

I am sure y'all heard about OJ getting kicked out of a Louisville restaurant during Derby because the owner thinks he's guilty and felt like OJ was too cocky about the whole thing. and No, I would not buy the book.

I wouldn't buy the book...Period! If the family really does need help, then set up a web site for donations...but I wouldn't trust the news...to report something as such, just to promote his book...If I were them, I wouldn't do this...no matter how broke I was, and I'm feeling there is something very strange about this...I smell a rat?

I guess I'm the only one who voted yes. I saw on the news that the Goldman family will receive the proceeds, so yes I would buy the book. I hope that OJ also explains in the book why he seems to believe that the "real killers" are hunkering down around the golf courses in Florida, considering he vowed after he was found not guilty to find the "real killers" and that is where he can usually be found ever since the trial ended....has anyone heard that he has had any success in rounding up the "real killers" on those golf courses?
