I just finished reading A Fool's Death(a murder mystery), written by Patrick Cody, copyrighted by John Cooney circa 1993. Published by Crown publishing.
I Googled Patrick Cody and only came up with the one book(A Fool's Death). I can find no other information about him.
I emailed Crown Publishing and they returned a form email back to me telling me that they get too many emails to answer, and that I should read their FAQs.
I Googled John Cooney(he copyrighted the book) thinking that Patrick Cooney may be a pen name of his. I learned that there was an author named John Cooney that was active at Crown Publishing around the time that A Fool's Death was published.
John Cooney wrote books about the Catholic Church, including a couple mysteries.
There seems to be no information about John Cooney on the net other than his books at Crown Publishing.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to track down information on Patrick Cody? I am curious to learn more about him. He wrote a good book and I was surprised that it appears that it was his one and only book. Maybe he died?
I did find a book review of A Fool's Death and it stated that it was Patrick Cody's first book.
