I just finished NOT EVEN MY NAME by Thea Halo. It's a biography written by Ms. Halo as she tells her mother's story. Her mother, Sano, was a Greek living in Turkey in the early part of the 1900s. After WWI, her family and other Greeks were forced out of Turkey and made to go on a death march.

It was an interesting read about a time period/country/situation I didn't know a lot about. Later on the story turns to how this woman, Sano, raised her huge family with her much older husband who she was sold to in 1925.

Slow in some parts, it's still a good read, and the matter of fact way this woman (married at 15) overcame her family in Greece being ripped apart and still triumphed is inspiring.
