Well if you really want to know about it I think book publishers were born into trust funds...;-)....

I have the feeling that they're not too concerned about the price of hardcover books. I'd sure like to sit on one of their business meetings when they set the price...;-)....

Years ago when I bought a hardcover say in history you got some real good photographic pages. Those pages gave great visual insight to the book subject itself. Today well not so many. Hardly any. Some don't even have those pages. Nothing like getting less for more. If you ask me cost control in the book industry is a misnomer. Well as you can see I'm not too keen on all this state of affairs. Buying books costs me money!!!....;-)....
