I think I was reading this book about a year to two years ago. It was about a lawyer working for a top law firm in Chicago. He ends up having a breakdown and quitting his job. He goes to bar and gets drunk and some how ends up at a sleazy ambulance chasing two person law firm. He persuades the sleazy law firm to hire him and that is as far as I got before loosing the book.

The book was lighthearted, and I believe the author is very popular. Thanks in advance for any help.

Sounds like a John Grisham book. Could it be The Litigators?

I have all of John Grisham's books. He is one of my favorites authors. If you have a Goodwill Store near you that carries books, you can probably find books there by Grisham. I am waiting now on his new book "The Racketeer."

John Grisham
