so we are required to write a term paper about one Shakespearean play. it could be a tragedy, comedy, or a historical play. I can choose from any of the following topics:
A. Images of Man
B. Political Views of Shakespeare
C. Social or Historical Implication
D. Feminist Views
What do you think should I choose from any of these? I am deciding to analyze the Images of Man on the comedy As You Like It (All the world's a stage....)
There are several that fill the bill for all the topics, but I think Macbeth would work very well, especially in the last 2 categories. Lady Macbeth is a real piece of work (as are the witches), and Macbeth is a very haunted villain who understands all the implications of his villainy.
