I hope I'm posting this in the right spot....

I have several of The Onion books - collections of their best articles. I think my all-time favorite was the Dungeons and Dragons profile of Bill Gates. Anyone else have a favorite they want to share?

I love, love, love The Onion. Give me a little while, because I'm still on dial-up, sadly, and I'll post some of my favorite Onion stuff.

Feel free to post a link, but full text is a copyright violation.

And didn't want you to feel wrong, but it is a TOS violation.

heh
I remember when I first discovered the Onion.
It was quite awhile ago, before they were online.
I was at the local theater waiting for the movie to start and picked up the Onion newspaper.
I was confounded--what is this? Is this for real?
I got confused because their AV Club movie reviews and interviews are serious, but nothing much else is!
Some of their satires are just so dead-on that I almost cringe while laughing.

Lots of faves from the Onion.

I love the point/counterpoint articles:

My computer totally hates me vs God do I hate that b*tch
We sent Rex to a nice farm up North vs They had me put to sleep
Darling, I will give you the moon and the stars vs Giving me the moon and stars would have a disasterous effect on our galaxy

On my wall I have a copy of the Onion's front page from January 18-24, 2001. That was the week that Bush officially started his first term.
The headline reads:
"Bush: Our Long National Nightmare Of Peace And Prosperity Is Finally Over."
How true!

A recent headline that I enjoyed:
"R.L. Stine Reveals Slappy From 'Night of the Living Dummy' was Gay"

Another one I enjoyed was:
"Peyton Manning Shows His Backup Proper Way To Hold Clipboard"
