I Remember You by Yrsa Sigurðardóttir

I found it gripping, the sort of book you don't want to come to an end but are dying to finish to find out what happens.
I thought the location was refreshing, I've never read a book by an Icelandic author before.

Other suggestions welcome

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm poor so I have to use my library, LOL, and they didn't have I Remember You. But, I was able to request 4 of her other books, all of which are checked out. Can't wait! Always excited to find a new mystery/thriller author.

Cool, I'm also going to check that one out.

I'm currently reading Pet Sematary by Stephen King. Brrr, scary story, that one.

Yippee, an author new to me. I know little about Iceland's history, geography and culture so this will be new ground to explore.

Thanks for bringing her to my attention.

I'm ALWAYS looking for a "great scary creepy read"!!

My problem is scary and creepy, at least to me; have nothing to do with gory or violent. I'm also not a fan of genre books, such as the Twilight series.
