I enjoyed his books. Sad to hear that news. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

I predict there will be no end to new Tom Clancy books. Like V. C. Andrews, he was no longer an author, but a "brand". Most of his books were co-written with other authors, so I suspect we'll continue to see "Tom Clancy" books for years to come.

Tom Clancy was one of my favorite authors. I really liked how his novels had very believable plots even though it was fiction. The plots of his novels always left me with the impression that something very similar could happen in real life. His attention to details was extraordinary as well. My favorite Clancy novels are "The Hunt for Red October", "Without Remorse", "Debt of Honor", "Executive Orders", and "Rainbow Six". I also really like the movies made from some of his novels, especially "The Hunt for Red October", "Patriot Games", and "Clear and Present Danger".

RIP Tom! You will be missed.

Have you heard unfavorable things about the OP Center stuff, or you think they may not hold your interest? Just curious (seen a bunch of that stuff, but haven't read them).
