I received In the Company of the Poor: Conversations with Dr. Paul Farmer and Fr. Gustavo Gutierrez. Before I start it though, I want to go back and reread Mountains beyond Mountains by Tracy Kideer.

I got a few I asked for:
The Abominable by Dan Simmons
We Are Water by Wally Lamb

And a few I hadn't asked for, but interested in:
The Circle by Dave Eggers
There's More to Life Than This by Theresa Caputo (the Long Island Medium)

And an Amazon gift card to buy even more!

Yes, but awfully disappointing - some New-Age type health book.

But glad that others here did better!

Every year my brother in law gets me a Barnes & Noble $25 gift card. I use that for the year to get $2.99 & under books for my Nook. I was thinking of splurging & downloading 11/22/63 by Stephen King.

I only got two books for Christmas: The Help (Kathryn Stockett) and Unsoulled (Neil Schusterman). I did however treat myself to two other books I was hoping to get: Horde (Ann Aguirre) and Poison Study (Maria V Snyder).

I got so many I can't remember the titles: biographies and US history monographs, 7 or 8 in all. More coming.
