Anyone read/write fanfiction (writing, authors, stories, favorite)

I am not so sure if this goes in the correct category since it deals with mostly books and authors. But I would like to know if there is anyone here who reads or writes about fanfiction? I would like to know what do you think and who is your favorite fanfic author?

Fan fiction is borderline unethical and more than a little creepy in most cases. Besides all the inherent copyright issues it violates, nearly all of it I've read goes beyond "fan" into "fetish."

Fan fiction doesn't violate copyright, as people are writing for the fun of it, not for financial reward. It only violates a copyright if you are making money from it.

Yes, it's the internet, and there's a lot of sex. But not all of it.

I don't do much reading of fan fiction, and don't write any. But my daughter does both.

Fanfiction.net is one of them. That is where many fanfic authors go to write stories.
