I need to locate this place in the book but unfortunately can’t since I don't remember the chapter where Bateman saw a security guard in the hall who ate some doughnut and had a couple of coffee. Bateman was angry at him for some reason but when he compared himself with this guard a wave of relief washed over him. He stopped being angry as he felt his total superiority both in looks and finance.

Could you help me please to remember the chapter?

I already have the ebook. I don't need Amazon. I don't know what key words to search for since I don't remember any key words of this fragment.
