Does anyone else on here belong to PaperbackSwap.com? I used to go to ebay to find books, but now I go on paperbackswap.com first. Books are free - you just swap with others. You list books you're willing to give away and trade, and you can pick out books you want from books that others have listed. I've dived right into it, and am actually completing some collections. There's both hardbacks and paperbacks on there.

I picked up 'Hyperion" by Dan Simmons first, then a few others by him. Then I got a few others by my all time fav author, Edgar Rice Burroughs, and am close to completing my black Ballantine collection - just need 1 more!!!

Moderator's don't delete my post - as I'm not selling anything or soliciting anything. Just wanting to share a great free source of books for other book lovers and collectors.

blessings, Shen

Thanks for sharing the link. I have bookmarked it and will probably use it next time I collect some paperbacks. I gave dozens away just 3 weeks ago to the library--a worthy cause.

I joined paperback swap about 3 weeks ago. So far I have mailed out about 8 books and received 2. I am looking for a certain series of books and sadly am on the waiting list for them. Hopefully they will be made available soon and I can get them! It is a great site and so far so good!

I have tons of books..all types. I think i'll check into the swap sites. Although with the freecycle spinoff site here in Las Vegas, (passitonlv.com) i just give books away and get them for free, no shipping.

CAKD, you said you mailed out 8 but only received 2. Do you feel the service is worth it? The books you received, were they in good shape? No bent pages, things like that?

That's what I'd be afraid of. Sending books and not getting any back.
