I've been following the alphabet series (I think most call it ABC mysteries?).

She wrote W is for Wasted, then Kinsey and Me. Now nothing. Checked her web page and there's nothing more recent than 2011.

So is W the end?

According to Goodreads, the next book is due out August 25, 2015.

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/24940998-x-is-for

This follows the recent pattern of release dates - every 2 years. W was in 2013, V was 2011, U was 2009, T was 2007, etc...

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that she'd end with Z.

I remember reading somewhere that she wished she had never titled that series the way she did because it would imply 26 books.

I don't know if she has ghost writers at this point, but if she doesn't, might help to keep in mind that she's almost 75. Maybe something is going on with her health.

yea, she made a comment some time ago that Z would be for Zero.

Thanks, snapdragon.

"Of the #1 New York Times–bestselling Kinsey Millhone series, NPR said, 'Makes me wish there were more than 26 letters.' "
Sue Grafton :: Author of the Kinsey Millhone Mysteries

The last one has been in the works for awhile, apparently. Closing in on the letter Z - LA Times
