I know, like I really need more books.
But I couldn't help myself. I had a morning appointment and it seemed such a shame to return home afterwards, without doing something "old fashion" to celebrate the start of the weekend.
So............
Two biographies, Charles Grodin and Maureen McCormick
Three practical books: emergency sea medicine, 2 SAS survival books
Lots of personal quest/experience: 2 by Thor Heyerdahl, and the rest mostly at sea & "Cruising Attitude"

That ought to last me.......two weeks in a dedicated session, longer other wise.
One of the books had this notecard inside: "This book was forced on me during a family vacation about 7 summers ago. We had decided to spend a week at a cute little cottage in Port Aransas right on the beach. It rained all week & the only book available to read was "The Hungry Ocean". So I began reading, and it wasn't long before I was "hooked". It was time for us to leave Port Aransas & I wasn't finished with the book. So I found the nearest Barnes & Noble that carried the book had them put my name on it, and then told my husband we would have to go approx. 40 miles out of our way so I could get the book. To his credit he only groaned. The author, Linda Greenlaw, is a fantastic storyteller. I have read numerous books & this book is listed in my favorite top five. I hope you enjoy it as much, if not more than I did.
Happy Reading & Merry Christmas,
Terri E......."
