This is a strange question but I've learned that I can usually count on C-D folks to come up with an answer. Today in Sisters, OR, a man yelled across the street at my husband, asking if anyone ever told him he looks like...I thought he said something like "Wallace Statner"....He said the author was a contemporary of Kesey and that he was on the staff at Stanford. We're pretty sure the last name started with an S. My husband has gray hair and a nice-looking 70-year-old face...no facial hair. When I Googled the name, I came up with William Shatner...no, he doesn't look like Capt. Kirk. Any ideas, anyone? Thanks.

Perhaps he was referring to Wallace Stegner.

That's it! The hair's the same color...maybe from a distance they might look a bit alike. Thanks
