Tuf Voyaging (fiction, written, series)

My perference in books is Science Fiction. It has been a long time since I have had the pleasure of reading an outstanding Science Fiction book/series. Tuf Voyaging is not in that catagory, but is pretty good and worth reading. Even though I do not know a lot about George R. R. Martin other than I have read all the Fire and Ice series and watched all the episodes on HBO, there is no doubt in my mind that he has written himself into the book as Tuf.
