Years ago, I remember reading in a collection of short stories, a story about a man who was obsessed with being wrinkle free. He always made sure his clothes had no wrinkles and his bed sheets were crisp. He even went as far as ironing his money.

Here is how I remember it ending:

Spoiler
It ended with him ironing the wrinkles from his skin

Has anyone read this short story? Would you possibly know the name of the author as well as the title. For some reason I remember the title being Crisp, but my googlefu seems to be broken.

Thank you

it was a short story written by an Indian.I t is about unhappy married life.it started with a lady waiting for the grand child to come home from school. the child is her only source of happiness. she never talked freely with her husband. She was even afraid to breathe freely in her husband's presence. she wanted to sleep in another room.but her mother in law asked her to sleep in the same room with her husband, for a wife should be available to her husband always. she slept on a mat below the bed. when ever he wants her , he will call. afterwards he would say "you can go". but her husband and daughter were great friends. When her daughter got married, she used to listen to the laughs which came from their room and wondered. now the daughter is mourning the loss of her husband. the mother tells her that, when her husband died, what she felt was a relief . the only thing she knew about her husband was that he disliked strings in beans.
