Too late to edit my post, further recollection and yes to other titles, Dracula, Sherlock Holmes, etc. There have been a few in parts or complete. Some of those reread memoirs are Roman a clef types. Example being Guy Sajer's Forgotten Solider, etc.
Only in the case of prominent works --particularly if there are parallels, usually Biblical; Steinbeck's East of Eden and Faulkner's Light in August, for example
Crock of Gold, James Stephens Snow Country, Yasunari Kawabata The Alexandria Quartet (4 books), Lawrence Durrell The Informer, Liam O'Flaherty At-Swim Two Birds, Flann O'Brien The Tale of Gengi, Lady Murasaki
A good book is an old friend I will visit again and again. I have books I had as a child. My husband and son do not like rereading books.
I have the first book I ever bought for myself - when I was 14. Science fiction titled Seven Steps to the Sun; I've read it a few times in the decades since purchasing it.
In my case, it is my brother and my son living me...neither read books...ever!

EVERY book on my bookshelves is a dear old friend. If I didn't enjoy it the first time around, it doesn't make the cut and leaves my house. Hundreds of old favorites keep me busy reading all year long. (This doesn't stop me from accepting more friends into my life.)
I have bookplates that read "I enjoy sharing my books as I do my friends, asking only that you treat them well and see them safely home."
The only book I've ever read twice is The Thornbirds, by Colleen McCulloch. I might even read it again in 5 or 6 years. Wonderful book.
