I know his name, of course, but have only read a little of one of the Hellaconia books - I just wasn't in the mood to make such a bit commitment of time. But some of these sound very interesting.
Thanks for mentioning his passing. Two anthologies by Aldiss were my introduction to sci-fi in the early '70s. I still have them. And I still like good sci-fi.
Sorry to read of his passing. I preferred his earlier work, mostly the short stories, my favourites of his books being Report On Probability A and Hothouse. One of the giants of British sf writing.
