I use the Kindle app to read on my iPad and iPhone--
There was an update and I hate the new app
It doesn't react as quickly as the previous/older version and took a while to understand how to do what I wanted with the redesign features/functions...

Anyone else use the Kindle app on an Apple produce?
Or Android product?

Do you like/dislike the new version?

I use the Kindle app on my iPhone and on my samsung tablet, you're correct the new version is slow and not very user friendly. Usually an update is available in a couple of weeks that improves a new version.

I don't use lot of apps but I depend on my Kindle every day
I think this app is so UN-user friendly it was redesigned by someone who doesn't use Kindle at all

Default Hear, hear

I agree with all of the posts above this one. My library is a nightmare and I'm in the process of trying to clean the thing up. I'm using amazon dot com to remove books, some of which I don't recall ever seeing and others that I've either read or stopped reading after not finding them interesting.

Is there any general outrage from other Kindle users about this??

Sometimes companies will redo an app when there is an outcry about the negative aspects of a revision
