Lee Childs says in this article that he is close to confirming a tv production deal for Reacher novels to be a tv series
10-12 episodes per book--
Which sounds more American than UK with their normally shorter series cycles
The interview is w/UK paper because he is also donating his personal writing memorabilia to East Anglia University--already the depository for other well-regarded writers

Childs is a phenomenal success with the Reacher books and if most critics are honest there is good writing in that series--
Good teaching material if nothing else

Hope this is for an American or streaming service vs BBC since that can be difficult to get in US
BritBox to me is not that great nor Acorn

10-12 episodes per book --- assuming that means each season will be 10-12 episodes --- definitely sounds like something more in keeping with Brit TV, AMC, or HBO.

Vera doesn't run to 12 episodes
the one where they are cops but don't have a script--just improvise
That doesn't run 12 episodes
I think there is lot of drama on UK tv that doesn't run even 10 episodes for a season
But that is just me
I am thinking maybe Amazon--because of the tie in with the novels and Amazon sells lot of Kindle books...
