So I'm interested in dreams, and I'm a voracious reader.

When I discuss dreams with people, others are amazed at how well "put together" my dreams are. They have plots, foreshadowing, surprise endings, etc., compared to other people's whose dreams appear to be random images that are zany and don't fit together. "Then suddenly, Jeff was there, only he didn't look like Jeff, he looked like Bradley Cooper, and then I woke up" sort of thing.

My dreams typically would make a believable, and interesting, short story.

I have a book club friend who also has that kind of dreams.

I've kind of considered at different times going in to writing - I wonder if writers have dreams that make sense?

Anyone else?

That is a really interesting question. I don't write, but I've been a voracious reader since the age of five, and while I do sometimes have the random image type dreams, more often I have dreams that are extremely detailed, and some of them have exciting plots with a beginning, middle and end and sometimes, surprising or comedic twists that I would actually find cool if they appeared in a book or movie. My DH is always amazed at the intricacy of my dreams.
