Anyone ever get a bright pixel on their paperwhite? I have one - and luckily it's on the very bottom left center. Normally it does not bother me at all. I wonder if it'll be a progressive failure though? I just hope that if / when I have to replace they'll still have the long battery life and less battery hog bells and whistle models still for sale lol.

I haven't had one but I'd seen it on others - you can probably get a replacement, Amazon are usually pretty good about that kind of thing.
If that model is still available, they might still do it, or they might offer to fix your current one. At least in the past, I've seen Amazon do this kind of thing even for older models. Can't hurt to at least ask them.

if you don't ask they can't say yes is my motto...
called amazon - model is not available anymore, out of warranty - so the customer rep gave me a 15 pct discount on a kindle purchase, and a further 10 percent refund after purchase - total 25 percent off.

The Paperwhite is my favorite e-reader. Because I can send books from my PC or email in PDF or word and read them well in kindle paper white, Or take it everywhere with myself like beach! Because I don’t have to worry about it getting wet. But in some Asian countries Amazon kindles dose not support their language and this creates a limitation and can not be used globally, which makes it rivals on the market.
Some time ago, I read an article about a reader that has just been made in Iran because the Amazon Kindle does not support their language, but this reader, named Fidibook, has solved the users' needs for reading books on this site https://fidibo.com/. I wish Amazon had the ability to bring Kindle to globalization

Yes, mine is also a minute pixel on the bottom left center. I have two Kindle. The pixel is on the newer Paper White.. It doesn't interfere with reading, though. I noticed it about a year ago.
