For novels, bios, or anything longer than an article - book.

Can't explain it but trying to read an e-book raises my stress level.

And an audio book, while seemingly convenient, can be hard to follow during complex passages; frustrating to stop, search back, play/listen again...maybe more than once to 'get it'.

I wonder how many posters who prefer books actually have (or had) a kindle (or other electronic reader)?

My wife has an ipad and a kindle. I tried both, but prefer books.

So, mark me down - if you're keeping count.

I have a Tolino, which is another brand, mostly because it supports the epub format. I don't really like reading on a computer in general. Ereaders are great because they look a lot more like actual paper.

I don't have many battery powered devices. My car and my cellphone are most of the list. A little netbook was convenient for a while until frequent closing damaged the cord between keyboard and monitor. I may eventually buy something for travel.
