I'd rather have the book in my hands and be able to smell the paper. There is nothing like the smell and feel of a brand new book. Even the lowly paperback has a smell and a feel of it's own.
I can see an advantage for an electronic book for those who need assistance but my eyes feel better looking at paper instead of a screen. As long as you are doing that much why not get the CD and have a listen to an expert reading it to you?
