Anything by Walt Morey, much of Madeline L'Engle, some of Shirly Jackson [particularly Life Among the Savages], Where the Red Fern Grows, and A Day No Pigs Would Die. By Diane Duane, So You Want to be a Wizard - there is a whole series about this. And lot of others.
As a teen, I loved reading anything by S.E. Hinton. The Outsiders, Rumble Fish, That Was Then This Is Now, and so many others. Try them, you'll like them.
Wrinkle in Time series by Madeline L'Engle
Ursula K Le Guin w/ Earthsea
Abhorsen trilogy (Sabriel, Lirael and Abhorsen)by Garth Nix
The Guardian Cycle series by Julia Gray
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares, is a good read. I would've loved it as a teen. There are 4 in the series. I was sad when I finished the 4th one.
My son really enjoyed books by Raymond D. Feist and by Mary Gentle when he was a teen. Both my kids enjoyed "So You Want to be a Wizard", suggested by karibear. My daughter liked the Redwall books even into her later teens, although I think they're geared more to a younger crowd. "The Paladin" by Brian Garfield was another that my son enjoyed.
Sarah Dessen - anything! The new Scott Westerfield series - The Uglies, The Specials and The Pretties. Sue Monk Kidd - The Mermaid Chair and The Secret Life of Bees. Lots of teens seem to be reading Jodi Picoult. And of course, Stephanie Meyer.
